Healthy Community -Ensure that public health needs are recognized and addressed through provisions for healthy foods, physical activity, access to recreation, health care, education, environmental justice, and safe neighborhoods.

 Master Plan 2030 development is underway. At the heart of this process is the idea that local government should invest more – and more thoughtfully - in its people and infrastructure. Through the summer and fall of 2021, the Department of Planning conducted a series of Community Engagement Meetings that were held in different communities throughout the County.

Six Master Plan topics will be discussed during public meetings in January and February 2022 asking for input on these goals and your assistance in suggesting actions to achieve these goals.
